Designer's Statement

MIKU FUKAMITSU continues to create pieces based on the concepts of natural materials, natural colors, and unpretentious people, with the flow, forms, and phenomena of nature as its themes.

The flows and forms found in nature may at first glance appear to be coincidental, but there is always a certain order and regularity within them.
At the core of our creations is an interest in such structures and principles of the natural world.

The jewelry created by the brand
does not simply replicate specific motifs,
but is shaped into fluid and abstract forms
that can be interpreted as other entities.

This did not begin with a clear theory or ideology from the outset.
The starting point of our creation was
a very simple question: "What constitutes comfort?"

I am drawn to things that do not feel out of place when worn,
things that unconsciously feel familiar.
Why do I find them comfortable?
Can this feeling be shared with others?
With these questions in mind, I have continued to create.

If humans are also part of what nature has created,
then forms based on the flows, forms, and phenomena of nature
might establish a more gentle relationship with the human body and senses.
Could it be possible to create a natural relationship
between objects and people, between inorganic and organic matter?
This is what I began to consider.

As an extension of this thinking,
we have established our current themes and concepts, and continue to create.
